Named Orakei Point, the vision for this area is for a large mixed use community anchored by a new transport hub consisting of a state-of-the-art train station, dedicated bus and car drop off, and a large park’n’ride facility.

It is proposed to revitalise a dilapidated part of one of Auckland’s most exclusive suburbs building a community around a new transport hub with significant public spaces at no cost to the citizens of Auckland.

This project commenced in 2007 and will take 5 years to complete.
